International Expert Panel on Integrated Ethical Governance for Health

We are happy to welcome the International Expert Advisory Panel for the "Integrated Ethical Governance for Health (IEG4H) Initiative". This outstanding group of experts with diverse backgrounds represents the Advisory Board to the initiative, offering guidance and support to shape it into the right form and direction to maximize its impact. Health Governance International LLC is honored to have you on board through this journey.

As we celebrate the International Anticorruption Day, the 20 years Anniversary of UNCAC and the UHC day, we need to have a fresh look on effective and efficient ways to fight corruption and other forms of intentional misconduct in health.

Preventing corruption in the health sector is complex and needs combined and integrated approaches to cultivate ethical cultures and behaviors while reducing systemic institutional vulnerabilities and incentives. Approaches that drive ethics must integrate governance (corporate-, clinical-, health systems-, democratic- and participatory governance), risk management (enterprise- and clinical risk management), compliance (financial-, operational- and legal compliance), audit (internal-, quality- and clinical audit), financial management, quality management, operational management, digital transformations and stakeholder engagement. This should lead to innovative programs to streamline ethical risk management, foster ethical behavior and proactively prevent misconduct in structures, processes, and operations.

Stay tuned as we start the activities of the initiative in 2024
